We were not sure whether to rent a car or hire... read more van with driver since tourist driving was not recommended especially for internal roads. We are glad that we went with Daina Taxi Tours!
We had our own customized trip and contacted them and Garfield, their manager was very responsive and prepared a very nice itinerary based on our wishlist.
Both Garfield and Adrian came on the first day after exchanging our appreciation for Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli (famous cricketers from Jamaica & India respectively) and other cricketers, he explained the entire trip and set expectations.
Adrian was very patient, reliable and informative. He always went out of his way to show us new things, little secrets of island (ex. suddenly stopping the van, getting out and bringing leaves from a tree which makes castor oil/bay leaves or other small unknown sites). Though we were a party of 8, we got a 16-seater so we had lots of room and spread ourselves. He was a great guide, our liaison to locals and a wonderful person overall. On second thought, all Jamaicans were wonderful people!
Very clean and almost new van. Highly recommended!

  I arrived at Montego Bay Airport on 26 January with my husband and 2 friends and had arranged prior to arrival for Daina Taxis to meet us and drive us... read more to our hotel in Runaway Bay (about an 75 minutes away). The driver, Garfield, was waiting for us as we came through arrivals with a board with our name on and gave us a quick and smooth journey to our hotel. He was extremely informative and gave us the history of the island during our trip. Daina Taxis were very reasonable. $60 for the whole trip and easy to pay in advance via Palpal. I would encourage anyone travelling to Montego Bay to use them.
